  1. Hey Sootch00, great vid once again! Quick question, I'm seriously considering the new 12.5 inch CMMG Anvil pistol instead of the 16". Do you think that it's too much power in such a short package? Anyhow, great work as always brotha!! Thanks for the knowledge.

  2. My Beowulf recoils more Ike a 20 gauge. I use a JP captured spring buffer with an extra tungsten weight and the second stiffest spring. Really can't beat this system for dialing in any caliber ar.

  3. so im new to learning this stuff and trying my hardest to learn as much as i can. That being said, i didn't see much info on the firing hardware other than the changing of the different size bolts.. is that all that is needed to change a 556 receiver into 458 someone please comment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!f5ef45r4f56re4f65re4w65f4re65w4fg6

  4. That gun wont last, .458 is much more powerful then the .223 changing just the barrel and the bolt isn't enough. Take a look at the CMMG Anvil for example, much beefier then standard ar-15 to handle the extra power. you'll see.

  5. Should be worth mentioning that using that torque wrench extension in the orientation you did you net a higher torque spec than what the wrench is set at. If you left it at a 90*, it would have been the spec you dialed on the wrench. In your case, if you had it at 35 ft/lbs , and thats a 2" extension you're looking at more like 40-42 ft/bls. Not that it matters all that much in that specific case since I've seen people torque that barrel nut to 65.

  6. damn right sootch… ar 15s are like crack! once you build one, it just becomes and addiction! i love it though… best kinda drug there is… thanks as always chief!

  7. WOW!! What an awesome piece of hardware and it's definitely an impressive caliber. It would be an excellent addition to hang by my SA M1A SOCOM 16 and the SA SAINT AR-15. Thanks for ALL your great video's!!! I enjoy how you do them and how you list any mods that you do. It makes things much easier for me. I appreciate ALL your effort, sir!!!
